Leicester Gouwland, Director
Leicester is a specialist in business advisory, tax, and audit. Leicester is also a Director and trustee of a number of private and trust companies.
Leicester has played a significant role in the accountancy field both in Auckland and nationally. Leicester set up the Investment Special Interest Group for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand, and is also a former Councillor of the Institute. Leicester has also served on the Professional Conduct Committee.
As well as being a Chartered Accountant, Leicester has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a Diploma in Business majoring in Marketing, and has a Master's degree in Taxation Studies with First Class Honours.
In 1998 Leicester was a national finalist in the Young Chartered Accountant of the Year. Leicester was also the financial judge for the New Zealand Tourism Awards in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
Leicester is currently President of the GMN International - Asia Pacific region, an association of professional accounting firms who provide business, taxation and management consultancy services to businesses worldwide.
Leicester acts for clients mainly in the medium to larger categories providing business and taxation advice.
Leicester enjoys most sports and reading a good novel.
